Fantastic 4-H'er: This week’s fantastic 4-Her is Autumn Erskine. Autumn is a 14 year 9th grade 4-H’er from Bacon County. Her main project areas include Communications, Public Speaking, and Teen Leader Training. Her 4-H highlights include winning first place in both Public Speaking and Communications at 4-H Project Achievement. Autumn says that “4-H has helped me to achieve my goals. It has helped me become a confident speaker in front of an audience, and to go out and talk to new people and make new friends. 4-H has helped me to put my heart into everything I do. It has taught me to care about my community's needs and to do something to help out.” Her favorite 4-H memory so far was being a Teen Leader at 4-H Camp. “I loved working with the kids and being someone they could look up to.” Autumn wishes that other people knew “what great opportunities 4-H has to offer; how it can teach you to go out and make the best better in whatever you do.” After high school, Autumn plans to attend college and become a County Extension Agent. Congratulations to Autumn Erskine from Bacon County, this week’s Fantastic 4-Her! To read more, visit: http://www.georgia4h.org/fantastic4her/default.htm .
