emblem Chase Horne

This week’s Fantastic 4-Her is 14 year old Chase Horne. Chase is an 8th grade Junior 4-Her from Walker County where he attends Lafayette Middle School.  His main 4-H projects include the Poultry Project, B.B. Team, and Poultry Judging.  Chase is also a certified Teen Leader, a member of the Walker County 4-H Council, and has attended 4-H Project Achievement.  His 4-H highlights consist of visiting all 5 4-H camps in Georgia and being elected to the 2008-2009 Northwest District Junior Board of Directors.  Chase says that 4-H has taught him “how to think things out more thoroughly when I am in a situation that I don’t understand, and to follow my heart in everything I do.”  His favorite memory form 4-H so far is being elected to Junior Board.  Chase wishes other knew that “4-H is not just farmers.  From projects and field trips to awards and activities, there is something for everyone in 4-H.  Congratulations to this week’s
