Fantastic 4-H'er:

emblem Courtney Ashton Jackson

Our new Fantastic 4-H’er is Courtney Ashton Jackson from Lamar County.  Courtney is a Senior at Lamar County High School.  She has been involved in 4-H since the 5th grade.  Her main project areas include General Recreation and Photography.  Courtney’s 4-H highlights include when she was named the Cloverleaf 4-H’er of the year and when she competed in the 4-H Cotton Boll and Consumer Judging Contest, the Poultry Judging Contest, the Forestry Contest, and the State 4-H Photography Contest.  She has also been a delegate at many district and state 4-H events including State Council, Senior Conference, and the Georgia Youth Summit.  Courtney says that 4-H has “expanded my knowledge in many areas and helped me express a love for my community.”  Courtney wishes that others knew how fun 4-H was and how beneficial it is to you in the long run.  After high school, Courtney plans to attend Georgia Southern University to pursue a degree in Mass Communications.  Congratulations to Fantastic 4-H’er Courtney Ashton Jackson!  To read more, visit: http://www.georgia4h.org/fantastic4her/default.htm .
