Fantastic 4-H'er:

emblem Courtney Jackson

Eighteen year old 4-H‘er, Courtney Jackson, is from Toombs County.  Courtney is a twelfth grade Senior 4-H’er at Toombs County High School. Her main 4-H projects have included Public Speaking, Power & Energy, General Recreation, and History.   Among her 4-H highlights are Cotton Boll and Consumer Judging, 4-H Fall Forum, Youth Summit, Senior 4-H Conference, Cloverleaf  Judge, Project Achievement, and serving as a Teen Leader.  According to her application, 4-H “has helped my head because  “I am completing my senior year at high school and freshman year in college, consecutively, at Brewton-Parker College.”  Courtney wishes others “saw 4-H for what it really is.  It is so much more than Project Achievement.  I am thankful for the opportunities it has provided for me!”  Courtney’s favorite 4-H memory is hearing her name called as the first place winner in the History project at 4-H Project Achievement.  Courtney plans to continue her education and pursue a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice and a Ph.
