Fantastic 4-H'er: Fifteen year old 4-H‘er, Danielle Paulk, is from Effingham County. Danielle is a is an 11th grade Homeschooled student. Her main 4-H projects have included Cloverleaf CPA and DPA Winner, Teen leader, Coarch, Cloverleaf Officer Training participant and Teen Leader, 4-H Officer (President for four years and Reporter for two years), and Senior CPA and DPA winner. Among her 4-H highlights are Judging at Cloverleaf CPA, Senior Project Achievement, and assisting with Cloverleaf Officer training. According to her application, “Through 4-H demonstrations, I have been able to practice public speaking and performing arts. This has allowed me to expand my knowledge of various topics as well as make me more comfortable in front of a group.” and “As an Officer in our club, I have had the opportunities to lead and encourage others which has strengthened my leadership qualities and made me more effective in other areas as well.” When asked what she wished other knew about 4-H, Danielle responded ” I would love for students to understand that 4-H can enhance your public speaking skills, leadership qualities, and help you learn to help others in your community.” Congratulations to Danielle Paulk from Effingham County, a Georgia Fantastic 4-H’er!
