Fantastic 4-H'er:

emblem Ethan McBrayer

Seventeen year old 4-H‘er Ethan McBrayer is from Tift County.  Ethan is a Senior 4-H’er and an upcoming twelfth grader at Tift County High School.  His main 4-H projects have been Companion Animals, Health, and Human Development.  Ethan lists having the opportunity to attend summer camps as both a camper and teen leader as one of the major highlights of his 4-H career.  “The camps are such an enrichment tool for me. Without them I probably would never have learned about lake ecology, canoeing, tying harnesses, or how to be a positive role model to every single 4-H’er who needed a friend while away from home.”   Ethan also credits 4-H with giving him knowledge that he can take anywhere including how to write a speech and present it to large crowds of people.  McBrayer wishes others knew 4-H “as a doorway of opportunities: Opportunities of traveling around the United States, winning scholarships, learning about different things, and as a club that prepares you for life.  4-H is the type of club that can offer a person a diversity of experiences that they will cherish for their lives.  Ethan plans to attend ABAC majoring in Pre-Medicine, then transfer to UGA to complete a Pre-medicine degree and enter UGA’s medical college to become a Pediatrician because of how 4-H has caused him to love and enjoy children.  Congratulations to Ethan McBrayer  from Tift County, this week’s Fantastic 4-H’er!  To read more, visit:  http://www.georgia4h.org/fantastic4her/default.htm .
