Fantastic 4-H'er: Our new Fantastic 4-Her is Gracie Rowe. Gracie is an 11th grader at Heard County High School and a senior 4-Her. Her main project areas are Performing Arts-Vocal, Cotton Boll and Consumer Jamboree Team, and Clovers and Company. She has served as president of the Northwest District Junior Board and as an officer on the Northwest District Senior Board. Among her 4-H highlights are Outstanding Cloverleaf Award, Leadership Award at county 4-H Award banquet, State Health Rocks training team and top 5 in the senior Cotton Boll. She says her favorite 4-H memory was singing in the Clovers and Company show in Texas. “The crowd was insane and the show was so much fun. We had a huge audience. The crowd screamed so much you would have thought we were celebrities.” If she could describe 4-H to an outsider in three words, they would be —world of opportunity. “This organization has so much to offer, if only people would take a second to listen. It has helped me become the person I am today and has improved my life so much. My best friends are in 4-H.” After high school Gracie will become a UGA bulldog to pursue a degree in Journalism. Congratulations to Fantastic 4-Her, Gracie Rowe of Heard County.
