emblem Haley Rowe

Thirteen year old 4-H‘er Haley Rowe is from Effingham County.  Haley is an eighth grade Junior 4-H’er and attends Effingham County Middle School. Among her 4-H projects are Companion Animal Science, County Mini Booth Competition, County Project Achievement, Project Achievement on the District level, and Cotton Boll and Consumer Jamboree. Her 4-H Highlights include volunteering, First place at the County Fair in Mini Booths, and membership on the third place area Cotton Boll and Consumer Jamboree team.  According to her application, “4-H has helped me stand in front of a crowd and give a speech,” and “4-H has helped me what to be more involved in activities beyond school and family”.  Haley’s favorite 4-H activity thus far has been Junior 4-H Conference.  It was her first time at Rock Eagle and she says’ “it was fun!”  Haley wishes others knew that  “4-H IS fun!”   Upon graduation from high school, Rowe plans to attend college and learn foreign languages.
