Fantastic 4-H'er:

emblem Madisson Grimes

Fourteen year old 4-H‘er Madisson Grimes is from Fayette County.  Madisson is an Eighth grade Junior Home Schooled 4-H’er. Among her 4-H highlights and projects are  Cloverleaf and Junior 4-H Project Achievement, serving as President of the 4-H Horse Club for two ½  years, serving as President of the Home School 4-H Club for three years, raising money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, attending State 4-H Horse School, and winning the Best Sportsmanship Award at Horse School. According to her application,
“4-H has helped me develop my head in more ways than one. Some of them are how I have come to realize when I’m right or wrong I must always show good sportsmanship to set a good example for some of the younger 4-H’ers,” and “4-H has helped me develop my heart by learning and always doing things for the reason to just be nice and to never expect an award.”  Grimes wishes others knew the variety of  clubs and activity in 4-H.  Madisson plans to attend college at UGA and become a large animal veterinarian. Congratulations to Madisson Grimes from Fayette County, this week’s Fantastic 4-H’er!  To read more, visit:  http://www.georgia4h.org/fantastic4her/default.htm .
