Fantastic 4-H'er:

Matthew Daniel

Sixteen year old 4-H‘er, Matthew Daniel is from Chattooga County.  Matthew is as eleventh grade Senior 4-H’er at Chattooga High School.  His main 4-H projects have included History, General Recreation, Cotton Boll and Consumer Jamboree, Poultry Judging, MilkMake and Leadership Sigma Lambda Chi Club.  Matthew’s 4-H highlights include winning District and attending State 4-H Congress in the History Project, holding County Council offices, earning the Senior Leadership Award, and being selected as an OMK Ambassador and as a Georgia Youth Summit Delegate.  According to his application, “Being involved in 4-H has instilled in me a drive and determination to set goals and achieve them. My public speaking skills have improved dramatically from being involved in Project Achievement in giving my speech for my demonstration.  I now have the ability to create new and fresh ideas.”  Daniel wishes others knew that 4-H  “…is so much more than Agriculture of showing sheep.
