Fantastic 4-H'er: Our new Fantastic 4-H’er is Morgan Bowen. Morgan is a 4-H’er from Sumter County. Her main project areas are Performing Arts-Dance and Poultry Judging. Her 4-H highlights include receiving a $1,500 grant to continue her Leadership in Action Project and organizing Operation Desert Support (ODS) to show support for deployed troops to Iraq and Afghanistan. Morgan says “The skills that I have learned from opportunities presented through 4-H will help me to be better prepared for the future.” Her favorite 4-H memory is when she was able to go White Water Rafting at Senior Camp this summer. Morgan wishes that others knew that “4-H encourages and challenges everyone to make the best better. You can gain so many important skills such as public speaking, interview techniques, teamwork, leadership, and learn the importance of community service - while having fun!” After high school Morgan plans to either become a Speech Pathologist or a Physical Therapist. Congratulations to Fantastic 4-H’er, Morgan Bowen from Sumter County!
