Fantastic 4-H'er: Our current Fantastic 4-Her is Sarah Buelow. Sarah is an 8th grade Junior 4-H’er from Cherokee County. Her main project areas are Marine Resources and Wildlife. Sarah’s 4-H highlights include receiving the Cloverleaf 4-H’er of the Year Award, First place at 4-H Project Achievement in both 2009 and 2010 and first place overall individual for her county’s Junior/ Senior Cotton Boll and Consumer Judging team. Sarah says “I have learned to speak in front of an audience. I have learned how to organize and present materials. I have become more passionate about what I want to do because of 4-H and I want to keep it that way!” When asked what she wished others knew about 4-H, Sarah replied, “ I wish that other people knew that 4-H could help them become a better person overall, starting in the heart and spreading into their everyday lives. I also wish that people knew that 4-H could help them feel more confident in themselves and that 4-H is a place where you can always make lots of friends.” Upon graduation from high school, Sarah plans to go to college to become a forensic archaeologist.
