Fantastic 4-H'er:

Sarah Kent

Fourteen year old 4-H‘er Sarah Kent is from Crisp County.  Sarah is a ninth grade Senior 4-H’er at Crisp County High School. Her main 4-H projects have included Performing Arts – Instrumental, Leadership, and Citizenship.  Among her 4-H highlights are Project Achievement, Mini- Booths at the fair, and serving as President of the county Junior Board and County Senior Board.  According to her application, through 4-H “ I have gained knowledge in so many areas. This club has motivated me to my best in all I do, and without 4-H I would not have learned so much,” and “I have grown to love this club and the people in it. If I have not joined, it would have been IMPOSSIBLE to meet everyone I met and future people also.  4-H has taught me to give all I have in everything I do.”  Kent wishes others knew “everything 4-H had to offer. 4-H develops you into a better all-around person, and it allows you to learn new ideas and met people you would not have had the chance to meet otherwise.”  Sarah plans to attend college at UGA or Valdosta State University and play in a college band and pursue a degree in music to become a band director as well as volunteer with abandoned and/or injured animals.
