Fantastic 4-H'er: This week’s Fantastic 4-H’er is Scout Josey. Scout is a tenth grade senior 4-H’er from Franklin County. Her main project work includes Forestry Judging, Lamb Showing, Project Achievement, Livestock Judging, Cotton Boll and Consumer Jamboree, and attending Junior Conference. Scout’s 4-H highlights include receiving High Individual at the Cotton Boll and Consumer Jamboree Contest, Serving as president of High School 4-H Club, winning showmanship at the State Fair, winning Grand Champion at South East Empire Lamb Show, and winning first place at Project Achievement in the Veterinary Science project. Scout says that “4-H has opened my heart to the many opportunities available to serve the needy in my community.” Her favorite 4-H memory was the day she won the Southeast Empire Lamb Show. She wishes that others knew that “4-H has so many opportunities available and ANYONE can find some project they are interested in.” Congratulations to this week’s Fantastic 4-H’er Scout Josey from Franklin County !
