Fantastic 4-H'er: Eighteen year old Senior 4-H’er, Tareva Moore is from Worth County. Tareva is a twelfth grader at Worth County High School. Tareva’s main 4-H projects have included Performing Arts – Vocal, History, and Leadership, Tareva has served in numerous leadership positions for Georgia 4-H including membership on the Southwest Junior 4-H Board of Directors, the Southwest Senior 4-H Board of Directors, and the State 4-H Board of Directors. Tareva was a Georgia delegate to National 4-H Conference, and is a Master 4-H’er and also a three year member of Clovers & Company. According to her application, “Decision making is such an important skill to have in youth, and being a member of 4-H has helped me to become a responsible young adult,” and “…4-H allows a person to find the better parts of themselves.” When asked what she wished others knew about 4-H, Moore replied, “ I wish others knew the power of 4-H. I wish I could tell the world the opportunities that are exposed to you as a member of this club. 4-H shows you so many different types of people. It shows you what you can do well and how to accomplish your dreams.” Tareva plans to attend Shorter College in Rome, Georgia to study Vocal Music Performance with a concentration in Operatic Performance to use her gift to develop and enrich the live of others.
