Fantastic 4-H'er: Sixteen year old 4-H‘er, Will Walker is from Turner County. Will is a tenth grade Senior 4-H’er at Turner County High School. His main 4-H projects have included Computers, International and Using Water Wisely. Will’s 4-H highlights include serving on the Southwest District Senior Board of Directors, Southwest Junior 4-H Board or Directors, Georgia 4-H Youth Technology Leadership Team, State 4-H Congress delegate, and receiving first place at 4-H project achievement for six consecutive years. According to his application, “4-H challenges us to always think of new ways to better our club, community, country, and world. Through my involvement, I have been able to develop problem solving skills that will benefit me through my life,” and “ 4-H has shown me that by opening up my heart to do community service activities or just speaking to the person who is eating by themselves, I am continuously growing emotionally. “ Walker wishes “other 4-H’ers knew all the wonderful opportunities we have to travel across the country and abroad…”.
