Fantastic 4-H'er:

Will Walker

Sixteen year old 4-H‘er, Will Walker is from Turner County.  Will is a tenth grade Senior 4-H’er at Turner County High School.  His main 4-H projects have included Computers, International and Using Water Wisely.  Will’s 4-H highlights include serving on the Southwest District Senior Board of Directors, Southwest Junior 4-H Board or Directors, Georgia 4-H Youth Technology Leadership Team, State 4-H Congress delegate, and receiving first place at 4-H project achievement for six consecutive years.  According to his application, “4-H challenges us to always think of new ways to better our club, community, country, and world.  Through my involvement, I have been able to develop problem solving skills that will benefit me through my life,” and “ 4-H has shown me that by opening up my heart to do community service activities or just speaking to the person who is eating by themselves, I am continuously growing emotionally. “  Walker wishes “other 4-H’ers knew all the wonderful opportunities we have to travel across the country and abroad…”.   After completion of high school, Will plans to attend UGA to major in Pharmacy.  Congratulations to Will Walker from Turner County, this week’s Fantastic 4-H’er!  To read more, visit:  http://www.georgia4h.org/fantastic4her/default.htm
