Fantastic 4-H'er: Fourteen year old Dodge County 4-H’er, Brooke Logue, is a ninth grader. Her main projects have been Leadership in Action, Relay for Life, Project Achievement, State 4-H Council, Adopt-A-Highway, Fall Festival, and Junior Conference. Brooke was the State Leadership in Action winner for her Mittens for Munchkins project last year. She was her county’s Junior 4-H’er of the year as well as a county club officer. Brooke says that “Through 4-H, I have learned to think ideas and problems through more clearly. I can use my brain to come up with better ideas and challenge myself to do my best in everything. “She further states that “I have learned that volunteering my time for others is very rewarding. It makes me feel good and brightens other’s day.” Brooke wishes others knew that others knew that “Not just geeks do 4-H. You can participate in everything and have good, moral, clean fun.” Brooke’s favorite 4-H memory is attending DPA because she has met so many new friends. Congratulations to Brooke Logue from Dodge County, this week’s Fantastic 4-H’er ! To read more, visit: http://www.georgia4h.org/fantastic4her/default.htm
