Georgia 4-H, along with The University of Georgia College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences is proud to host this event for the second year! Our day will begin with an informational session for 4-Hers about CAES conducted by Brice Nelson and the college Ag Ambassadors. We will then have a pizza picnic lunch on the Hoke Smith Annex lawn with special UGA celebrity guests including the cheerleaders, Hairy Dawg, and Miss UGA! Then we will cheer on the DAWGS at 1pm in Sanford Stadium for the G-Day game. A $10 fee will provide you with a ticket to the G Day game, 4-H Day T-Shirt, CAES information, and a pizza picnic lunch. Agents can register online at event registration.
In addition to these activities before the game, Georgia 4-H will also be hosting a CAES recruitment luncheon at the Georgia Center for a select group of 25 students. These students will meet with CAES leadership in departments and the college. Agents please return the "4-Her Recruitment Luncheon Application" (found on the Staff Only website) to Lauren Ledbetter ( lauren1@uga.edu )by March 25th. The student applying to attend the luncheon should be high school junior or senior, on academic track for admittance to UGA, and have an interest in attending UGA. Agents will be notified of students accepted to attend the luncheon. Spots will be filled on a first come first serve basis as applications are recieved. We want this to be a new and effective way to get 4-Hers excited about CAES opportunities.
