4-H Global Ambassdors

The Georgia 4-H Ambassador Program, Global Awareness Track, assists youth in becoming more aware of global issues and service opportunities while developing cultural competence and leadership skills that they can apply in their communities.

GCEE Puerto Rico

The 4-H Global Citizenship and Environmental Experience trip to Puerto Rico provides high school 4-Hers with the opportunity to explore another culture without technically leaving the United States.  As environmental education is a major component of the trip, students have hands-on opportunities to explore a variety of tropical ecosystems including a bioluminescent bay and a tropical rainforest.

Global Youth Service Day

Global Youth Service Day is an annual campaign that celebrates and mobilizes the millions of children and youth who improve their communities each day of the year through service and service-learning. Established in 1988, Global Youth Service Day is the largest and longest-running service event in the world, and the only day of service dedicated to children and youth. GYSD is celebrated each year in over 100 countries.

 

India Partnership

The Georgia 4-H India Partnership is a national government organization that helps the people of India achieve their better living goals through a variety of 4-H service outreach programs. 4-H youth have the opportunity to learn about India's rich history while serving the people.

The Georgia 4-H Liberia Partnership is a national government organization that helps native Liberians achieve their better living goals through a variety of 4-H service outreach programs. 4-H youth have the opportunity to learn about Liberian culture while serving the people.
