Catalog Ad Request Form
The catalog, seen
by all who attend the event, salutes past winners of the show,
provides information needed to the exhibitors and displays
advertisements which support our program.
Since 1995, proceeds
from this Junior Livestock Catalog have provided 4-H and FFA
members with scholarships of $500 each. These scholarships
are awarded to the top 12th grade showmen in the State Market
Lamb, Goat, Steer, Hog and Heifer Shows in Georgia. Your support
of this catalog will allow us to continue to offer these types
of opportunities. Thank you in advance for your support.
With this in mind,
we would like to invite you to take part in providing support
to our youth. This is a great way to advertise your business
and give back to the people that supported you through stock
shows. Ads in our catalog are priced as follows:
Premium Page (Inside
Front Cover and Inside Back Cover -If Available) = $400
Center Fold-If Available = $550
Full page (8 x 10.5") black & white = $300
1/2 page (8 x 5.5") black & white = $200
1/4 page (4 x 5.5") black & white = $150
You may include
photos, logos, etc. in your ad. Also, catalog coupons are
a great way to show the exhibitors your appreciation of their
support of your business. This is a great opportunity to “get
the word out” about your program and hopefully create
future relationships with Georgia livestock and agriculture
industry members.
If you
are interested in purchasing an ad, please complete the ad
request form and return the form and payment to the
addresses indicated in the form. The deadline for ads
is December 1, 2011. If you have any questions, please
feel free to call Ben Lastly at (706)542-8990 or
Heather Shultz at (706)542-8892.
The
Georgia Junior National Premium Catalog is published annually
to highlight the exhibitors and other participants of the
Georgia Junior Livestock Program. Each issue is dedicated
to an individual who has made statewide contributions (leadership,
financial or outstanding service) toward the success of the
youth program. Being selected for dedication is the highest
honor given by the exhibitors, teachers, Agents, and Specialists
involved in the Junior Livestock Program. Catalog nomination forms are due to Heather K. Shultz, Hoke Smith Annex #321, Athens, GA
30602 no later than the close of business December 1, 2011.

CATALOG
STUDENT SPOTLIGHT
Each
year, in the Georgia Jr. Livestock Catalog at the State Livestock
Show in February, Georgia 4-H and FFA spotlight 6 young people;
one student each in the swine, beef, dairy, sheep, goat
species, and an "All Around" exhibitor. If you have a student whom you feel like truly defines
all that is good about the junior livestock program, please
nominate him or her for the Catalog Student Spotlight.
What we are looking for are students who are the epitome of
hard work, fair play, character, and project growth. Regardless
of the color ribbons they win, or the size of their operation,
we want to spotlight those who define all that is good about
the junior livestock program.
Nomination
forms for 4-H members are due
to Heather K. Shultz, Hoke Smith Annex #321, Athens, GA
30602 no later than December 1, 2011. We have hundreds of wonderful
young people who deserve to be recognized. Please help
us find them!
