EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR 4th-12th graders

Learn more about healthy pets and healthy people, earn prize money and
be recognized at other local venues.

4-H'ers will develop posters that creatively depict all of the following five points:

  • Animals carry germs that can make people sick.
  • Always wash your hands after leaving an animal area or touching animals.
  • Never eat, drink or put anything in your mouth while in an animal area.
  • Contact with animals or their environment can result in injuries and allergies
  • Older adults, pregnant women, and young children should be extra careful around animals.

The CDC & NASPHV guidelines provide lots of information for 4-H'ers to use in learning more about these points. Try this website for research information and details for creating posters.
