Bleckley County Wins National 4-H Consumer Decisions Contest

The 2015 state winning Georgia 4-H Cotton Boll and Consumer Judging Team from Bleckley County recently won first place overall in the National 4-H Consumer Decisions Contest held at the Western National Roundup in Denver Colorado.  Team members are: Sara Faulk, Davis Grimsley, Marisa Hutchens, and Hannah Moseley.  Volunteer, Laurel Moseley, served as the team coach and Brandi McGonagill is the County Extension Coordinator.

The team was very successful in the competition receiving first place honors in the Group Think competition by 24 points over the next team, and third place place honors in Reasons, as well as first place overall.

Hannah Moseley also won first place High Individual honors in the  Reasons competion. 

Congratulations to Bleckley County 4-H! Georgia 4-H is very proud of you!
