About the Summit
Georgia faculty members and Georgia 4-H and volunteers will provide an educational music summit for the first 200 4-H youth and their chaperones registered for the Summit from across the country.

There will be parallel tracks for youth and adults: one that engages students in a rounded program of workshops educating them on music basics, leadership and citizenship and 4-H, and another track that allows adults an opportunity to learn how to create their own 4-H performing arts group.

Coordinated by the University of Georgia, College of Agricultural & Environmental Sciences, Cooperative Extension, Georgia 4-H.  Since 1981 Georgia 4-H has coordinated 4-H Clovers and Company, one of the premier 4-H performing arts groups in the county. 4-H spokesperson, Jennifer Nettles reflects on her time in Clovers and Company,
“For me I think that was pivotal in helping me become the leader and the artist I am today,” she said. “I learned so much about shows, music, putting on a show, building a show and all these things that continue to serve me in my work today.”

The University of Georgia is committed to the principles of equal opportunity and affirmative action.
