Georgia Peach Buzz – Final Email Edition

Dear Friends,

It is finally time for you to join us in Atlanta!   We look forward to welcoming you to the great state of Georgia!  Here are the top two reasons that you should plan to join us in Atlanta for NAE4-HA, Oct. 21 - 25, 2007!

Reason Number 2 to attend the 2007 NAE4-HA conference in Atlanta Georgia: Our Conference Keynote and Capnote Speakers

Susie Vanderlip will serve as the keynote speaker at the conference.  An internationally renowned author, motivational speaker, actor, dancer, and youth and family expert, Vanderlip brings a multitude of talents and experience to the stage. She is known for her exceptional ability to bring real-life to her programs, infusing presentations with thought-provoking insights, compassion and hope. Her theatrical one-woman show LEGACY OF HOPE touches the heart of every man, woman and child.

Nancy Grace will serve as the capnote speaker for the Thursday general session of the 2007 NAE4HA meeting. Nancy is a former Georgia 4-H'er and Rock Eagle 4-H Center camp counselor.  Nancy Grace hosts Headline News' legal analysis program, Nancy Grace, on Headline Prime. She is based in CNN's New York bureau. Grace is one of television's most respected legal analysts.  Her book, Objection!, was published by Hyperion in April 2005 and was an instant New York Times bestseller.

Reason Number 1 to attend the 2007 NAE4-HA conference in Atlanta Georgia:

We are ready to roll out our Peachy Southern Hospitality for each of you, and it just won't be the same without YA’LL here!

Greeters at Airport:

Georgia greeters will be looking for you at several Airport stations to welcome you as an arriving conference delegate.  They will also provide information regarding the airport and transportation to the conference hotel. Look for greeters carrying conference signs.

Helpful Hints for those staying at the Omni Hotel:

1) Keyed elevators in the North Tower for guest room access - If you are staying in a North Tower guest room, you must have a room key to activate the elevator to get to the guest room floors. This is a new security measure to keep non-hotel guests off of guest floors. If you have a friend coming to visit your room that is not in the North Tower, you will have to meet them at the elevator to give them access.

2) Select Guest benefit - Over 70% of NAE4-HA attendees signed up for the select guest program at the Omni. One of the benefits is a morning beverage. There is no way for the hotel to logistically deliver a beverage to most of the guest rooms each morning, so they will be offering a beverage station each morning in the vicinity of the main meeting areas.

3) Room incidental charges - Incidental charges (including movies, snack bar usage, in-room bottled water) will be charged to the first person listed on the room. The hotel has no way of knowing who uses these items, so they have to bill someone. It will be the responsibility of the guests in that room to settle up on incidental charges, so keep up with what you use.

Presenters:  There will be a box at the information booth for leftover session materials.  If you are a presenter and have extras, please plan to drop these off - preferably in some form of container (box, bag, etc.), labeled for your session title.  This way you can share their materials with non-session attendees and avoid having to pack or ship items back home

These will be available to  interested delegates while supplies last.
