Hannah Dasher is a native of Springfield, Ga. She has been singing since the age of four. Inspired by her first Patsy Cline cassette tape and from watching the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday nights, her passion for music developed early on. Hannah was active in her local 4-H program and was encouraged to audition for Clovers & Co. by her Extension Agent. She lacked confidence in herself, however, and did not try-out until she was 14. After graduation, Hannah attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. It was here that she began to pick up the guitar and start writing songs. In 2006, she transferred to the University of Georgia to become enrolled in their Music Business program.
Through the Music Business program, Hannah was able to work with and learn from many industry professionals. In 2007, she interned in the department of entertainment at Wild Bill's Atlanta and also attended the Country Music Awards. In 2008, Hannah became the Regional Student Coordinator for NSAI, (Nashville Songwriters Association International) for the greater Athens area. Over the summer, Hannah worked as a publishing and administrative assistant for an Independent label on Music Row. She also opened up for Billy Dean and performed with him in concert this past summer. In December, Hannah graduated from UGA with a degree in public relations and landed the lead role in "A Closer Walk with Patsy Cline", at the Historic Savannah Theatre in Savannah, Ga. She currently travels around the state, performing and gaining audiences. We all hope for Hannah's continued success!
