Who knew that one day Carole Bufford would be shaking up the theater world with her performances in musicals? Well pretty much anyone who had the chance to see her perform when she was on Clovers and Company. Since the beginning of her time with Clovers it was obvious that Carole had a great ability to be one of the best in Musical Theater. Now she has taken that ability right onto the stage, and is making a run at a very successful career in theater. Carole just finished touring in the off broadway performance of Junie B. Jones, which is based off the book series by Barbara Park. In this tour she was the lead as Junie, which was very surprising that her first professional tour she was cast as the lead, but anyone who knows her, knows that is not impossible for such a talented performer! During the tour she got to perform shows in Atlanta, Augusta, and Savannah, for sort of a hometown crowd. According to Bufford "I was thrilled to actually be performing so close to home so my friends and family could attend". This holiday season Bufford was cast to play in "A Christmas Carol", which ran at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in New York. We know this is only the start for the career Carole will have, and we only wish her the best of luck in her future roles, and maybe one day she will be at the Fox to perform, which is of course a childhood dream of hers.
