The People Speak Global Debate - Win A Trip to New York City
Want to join in a truly global debate?  This fall and spring, thousands of high schools will all be debating two of the most pressing global issues facing our world today as part of The People Speak Global Debates. October's topic is on lowering carbon emissions and March's will be on water rights.

The Global Debates are a chance for you and teammates to develop your research, public speaking and leadership skills. You could qualify to win a trip to the United Nations Foundation Global Student Leadership Summit in New York City in July 2008! State Farm Good Neighbor Service-Learning Grant
With the generous support of the State Farm Companies Foundation, Youth Service America is offering the annual State Farm Good Neighbor Service-Learning Grant for youth across the United States and Canada (in Alberta , Ontario , and New Brunswick only). These grants of up to $1,000 support youth (ages 5-25), teachers, or school-based service-learning coordinators in implementing service-learning projects for Global Youth Service Day, April 25-27, 2008.
Maximum Award - $1000

Collaborate With Teachers & Students Around the World
International Education & Resource Network: iEARN
Started in 1988, iEARN is the world's largest non-profit global network that enables teachers and young people to use the Internet and other new technologies to collaborate on projects that both enhance learning and make a difference in the world.

Georgia Council for International Visitors - Check Calendar for Events
The mission of the Georgia Council for International Visitors (GCIV) is to build cross-cultural understanding and mutually beneficial personal and professional relationships between Georgians and leading citizens from around the world.

This is achieved through a variety of programs, including professional exchange programs, cultural orientations and home hospitality, networking opportunities, community education programs, and travel programs. GCIV collaborates with other organizations, public or private, in carrying out its mission.
