Renting Fortson

Fortson 4-H Center offers a variety of facilities to suit the needs of many types of groups. Situated on 77 acres in Clayton and Henry counties, the Center is about 25 miles south of downtown Atlanta, Georgia.

Fortson’s five cabins, all with central heat and air and modern restroom facilities, can sleep up to 172 people. Additional amenities include short walking trails, a 75,000 gallon pool, two outdoor pavilions, an outdoor amphitheatre, and a 10,000 square foot gymnasium.

Meeting space includes a multi-use dining hall, an ecumenical chapel, and an indoor lodge. Some cabins also have small common rooms that may be used for break-out space.

Up to three meals a day, along with light snacks, can be arranged with Fortson’s Dining Services. Choose between our staff’s suggested menus, or design your own.

Groups can also take advantage of one of the area’s best Ropes Courses in order to develop teamwork and meet personal challenges. Qualified facilitators will lead the group through elements specifically chosen to fit the group’s needs.

Due to scheduling requirements, the Ropes Course must be reserved in advance.
