GA 4-H History Book

Since 1904, the Georgia 4-H Program has impacted the lives of youth through lifelong learning, leadership skills, and self-confidence. What began as a program to teach new farming techniques as a community-based educational program has progressed into a program in which young people learn by doing and so, become engaged citizens. The program would not be possible without the dedication of every person involved in 4-H as a member, volunteer, parent and/or donor.
To commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Georgia 4-H, we are thrilled to announce the publication of Georgia 4-H: Historic Past, Dynamic Future. This engaging manuscript is a scrapbook illustrating the history, the current programs, and people of Georgia 4-H.   Contained in the pages of this beautiful book is a compilation of information and photos from 4-H’s past and present.  Each unique face and individual county story is part of the mosaic that collectively forms a portrait of Georgia 4-H.
