A History Project for Georgia Senior 4-H'ers. The web site you are
viewing now is the result of the Senior 4-H'ers research project.
Whose shoulders are you
standing on? Who are the people who came before us to build the programs
we use everyday? The Senior History 4-H Project was developed for Georgia
4-H'ers to investigate the history of the 4-H program in their county.
Using personal interviews, research, and memorabilia, 4-H'er create
a history of the 4-H program from its beginnings to present.
Our mission:
*To discover your relationship
to others: peers, family, community, and society.
*To recognize and
celebrate the achievements and contributions of those before us.
*To learn skills
essential to participation as effective citizens.
*To have a respect
for and responsibility to leadership and achievement of others.
*To learn how to
conduct personal interviews and collect historical documents.
